	The Teaters: May Prayer Letter Sorry about the long delay in blog posts. We have had some trouble with our ability to access our site. Hopefully that is resolved and we will be able to update more frequently. We mentioned in our prayer letter, but would also like to post that we are excited about our up-coming furlough. We have the opportunity to be in the states this year from June 10-July 13. We will be spending the first 3 weeks in Mansfield including Amanda's sister Chelsea's baptism and her sister Alison's wedding. We will then spend 3 weeks in Tremont. We hope to see many of you during our time at home. Thank you all for your love and prayers over the past year. Here is our May Update. Click on the picture below to read our Prayer Letter!

	Prayer Requests: Visa Stuff Please keep my visa renewel in your prayers. They have asked for another document, which is standard. Though the document they went, a notarized copy of my brazilian ID, is a document that I don not have. For some reason the ID's take about forever to come and usually are out of date by the time you get them. My has not been sent to me yet by the Federal Police. So I can not very well copy it for them. So sometime soon I will being going in to explain this to them, it should be pretty simple but since this is of large importance please keep it in your prayers. Jake

	Prayer Requests: Visa Update I took my papers into the Federal Police and they accepted my application for consideration. That means that the visa renewal proccess has started. I am allowed to stay in Brazil until the result of that process comes back, and longer if it is renewed. The process takes about eight months to a year. Mid way through they will probably request more documents. So please pray that they will aprove my visa renewal. Jake

	Prayer Requests: A Prayer Request. One night Jeremiah and I slept in a tent, and I of course took my Bible with. The next day I was busy and did not get a chance to take it out. When I went to get it I found that the Bible had been stolen. We have a pretty good idea who it was. So Luiz or the farm hand here will be telling them that there is a reward for who finds my 'lost' Bible. Pray that they will realize that the 50 reais in reward is worth a whole lot more than what they could sell the English Bible for. The Bible is the one I got when I was in 6th grade. The Tremont AC Church buys a nice Bible for all the kids in the 6th grade Sunday school class. Its the Bible that I have been doing my daily devotions out of for nearly ten years. Also with my Bible was a pearl necklace that I bought in Indonesia right before I turned 18. Pearls are cheap in Indonesia, and at that time I knew that I would become a missionary. And I knew because of that, that I would not have a lot of money to be able to buy nice things for a girl when I found one. And when I was in Jerusalem I bought a egg shaped gold colored pearl and put it as the center peace of the neckless. Obviously its something very important to me, something I was looking forward to giving away. My Bible and that neckless are the two things that I would rescue if the house caught fire. There were a few other things in the tent that were taken, but they are not worth mentioning Pray that they boys that took it would respond to the reward money and return the Bible and the pearls. I hope that they will understand what it is by the fine paper the pages are made out of, and that they will figure that the neckless is just prayer beads. Jake
